Hello - I plan on buying a 45'-50' Hatteras or similar to live aboard and occasionally do some fishing from somewhere in Florida with my 8 yr old son. I have done quite a bit of research, and am excited to start our new adventure! I came here because those of you that are already livin the life have a wealth of info I can learn from, and appreciate what you are all doing!
Cheers! :D

Welcome boompa. That Hatt should provide plenty of space for the two of you, and plenty of maintenance to keep you busy. A Hatteras is a quality platform with simple systems.... perfect for owners and apprentices (like your son) to watch and learn.
