Well,...it was good while it lasted. Did you say the Aythya crew stopped by. I can guess what kind of cost that was to poor Captain Force and his beer ballast!! You've got a lot of posting to do to beat me to the 1000 mark!

Glad you are back Missed your antics. A computer is sure different than a telephone. Or is that why my phone doesn't work?

Hurrah! I'm heading for Florida next week and am hoping I can get together with some of you. I will be in Ft. Lauderdale from 23 May to 3 June.

Ha! I did very little. I just sent a pm to the site administrater telling him of the problem and asked him to email Capt Charlie. When your online stuff breaks you're like a blind guy sitting at a table with a deaf guy at a party. Someone needs to "kick start" the communication!
Take care and joy, Aythya crew

Since you've been gone for so long, what's the toll fee (in beer) to get past Fernandina these days?

Ralph: The infamous Fernandina toll is not measured in quantity as much as it is capacity. That is, the tax is equal to the full beer capacity of your vessel once Jax is invited aboard.

Thanks, Tex. I think I have a clear picture of how this works now.

Um, Jax. You still here, or having more computer problems?

Well for someone who's supposed to be back, there sure isn't much sign of it. In order to be of value to the forum, you must make post comments that allow us to make fun of or insult you in some manner. Do we have to remind you that this is your primary function on the forum!?

So did CF get by northbound without paying the transit fee whilst you were sleeping?
