Very nice job on the upholstery. We have a few bits of upholstery needing recovering too, but our local and excellent canvas guy has just retired! he did say he might do 'some' work now and again, so fingers crossed. our cushions are original Beneteau France from 1998 and the backs are rotting in places where they have velcro to hold them in place and that was stronger than the material it stuck to.

Scal: I can't believe it! Is that a matched canvas cover for your Magma grill?

Us sailyboat owners like to have matching outfits! Our grill cover, outboard motor cover and Navpod covers are also all in matching Sunbrella as too is the UV protection on our new in-mast reefing mainsail even though we had that made in the UK and shipped over.[/SMUG]

It would be very tacky to have a mishmash of colours like wot you see on some gin palaces and fish killers..

The color is called faded hunter green. I have to make new sail covers. I plan hunter green. Of course nothing will match. I made the hatch covers from stripped sunbrella. I am not a sewer. I just keep trying. It is practice, practice, and practice. Hunter green is not a color that one would use in the South.

Dang! Maybe the first pic ever of Scallywag I've seen...nice work, John. Now, to come up with an avatar for you. :D

Now....to figure out this new format, just as I had finally figured out the old one.

The image can't be larger that 150 pixels wide. I resized it and add it as your avatar :)

Capt. Charlie: You're much too modest. Why don't you include a more recent photo with the new aft-cabin addition? Here's one that Bobbymo sent me.

I'm going to give this a try. I put a couple photos on fb, now to see if I can import them from there to here. That didn't work. Now waiting for semismart phone to recognize computer and send photo. Now it's telling me it can't access the photos, so it says to tap settings, which I did, and go to storage, which I did, but the command it tells me to tap next in't there. Phooey.
